6 Feb 07 --The page hasn't changed for a while but I've been working on some scripts to help me generate content faster and I've just started on a poll feature that should be ready soon. As for Geoff while he has yet to put anything up on the site he's done quite a bit of work on some speakers he's building and should have an article up soon.

23 Dec 06 --Well it's been an amazing first couple of days with at least 3 different people I don't know accessing this site :) Of course I decided that the lack of indentation for my python code was more than I could bear and changed the site to use textareas inside the code divs... obviously this destroyed formatting in IE and meant the site was in a pretty poor state of limbo for a while... There is a custom IE<7 style sheet now (which is empty but looks ok anyway) and the site is reasonable on all browsers (despite what little content we have) lessons have been learned and once the site is fully up and running things will be sorted out in a more reasonable fashion (I also won't impose crazy deadlines on myself just before leaving on a trip.) Anyway I'm taking off for Montreal in a very short time and obviously I haven't packed therefore the follow up to the first article will be a while. I'm on vacation till the 28th of Jan though I might be home for a bit in Early Jan. That being said the follow up will hopefully have some better formatting especially for the code bits and will be deployed in a more final form the first time.
